Introduction
Evidence is information supplied by participants which can be used to make an assessment or determination. For example –
- The Address of a person may be used to determine citizenship and current mailing communication.
- The date of birth of a person may be used to determine age qualification for a benefit or service.
- The Identification Evidence of type like SSN or PAN or anything other type helps to authenticating the participant.
Evidence can be captured and maintained for a person / prospect person within a number of areas. For example, information a person provides about themselves and their family when applying for assistance is captured as evidence and is viewed and maintained within their application case. When this application case is complete, they may be found to be eligible. At this point in the process, the evidence they provide in the application case is maintained as part of their ongoing integrated case. Evidence for persons can also be viewed and maintained through their person record.
IBM Cúram evidence framework, including the ability to maintain evidence at the application, person or prospect person, and case level, evidence sharing, and evidence verification.
Here, in this tutorial we will try to cover implementation of static & dynamic evidences in detail.
There are two types of evidences being used in Cúram, namely, Static and Dynamic Evidence. Both evidences are used to store data in the form of evidence but their implementation and configuration are completely different from each other.

Dynamic Evidence Implementation
IBM Cúram Evidence Examples

Also, Cúram provides way to broker evidences from one case to another, like application to integration.
There are many other important features Cúram provides as a part of Evidence Framework. Evidence gathering plays a vital role in Eligibility and Entitlement, so I encourage you to go through IBM Cúram guide to get more information.
User can view Evidences from various places in Person or Case Home page –
